I work as a Researcher at RKBU Vest. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in child welfare. My research expertise covers various aspects of child welfare services, including assessments, support measures, and foster care. In February 2026, I submitted my PhD thesis, which focuses on children with migrant backgrounds in foster care and their contact with their families of origin. I have previously worked, among other roles, as a research assistant at RKBU Vest, as a residential care worker with unaccompanied refugee minors, and in the Child Welfare Service. In the child welfare services, I first worked as a caseworker and later as a project and quality coordinator. I also have experience as a senior adviser, focusing on interdisciplinary collaboration in work involving children, young people, and their families.
